After some deliberation, I finally chose the Baked Apple Stollen Sweet
Thermomix Baked Tomato Sweetmeats
For this purpose, first knead a buttery yeast dough in the Thermomix and then cook a delicious baked apple and spice filling. The yeast dough is cut in half, rolled out, spread and put one half on the other half. This creates a kind of biscuit sandwich. When baking, then all three parts and come out a wonderfully tender, crumbly and soft pastry with delicious Christmas apple filling. As always, I have adapted the recipe and omitted, for example, the raisins and the lemon peel in the recipe for reasons of taste. Still warm, the delicious little appetizers are smeared with melted butter and dusted thick with powdered sugar. And then enjoy nothing like it, before someone else eats it! Have fun baking.
Baked Apple Confection (Christmas Bakery with Thermomix)
- FOR THE DOUGH:
- 100 g of milk
- 60 g of sugar
- 250 g wheat flour (Type 405)
- 1/2 sachet dry yeast
- 80 g soft butter
- 1 pinch of salt
- FOR FILLING:
- 30 g almonds with skin
- 2 small apples (e.g.Add flour, yeast, butter, vanilla extract and salt and 2 minutes | Knead kneading mode to a smooth yeast dough. Place the dough in a lightly oiled bowl, cover and leave in a warm place for about 1-2 hours.
For the filling, roast the almonds in a frying pan without fat. Put in the mix pot and 10 seconds | Finely chop down stage 8.
The Apples wash, quarter and core and put in the mix pot. 4 seconds | Mince level 4. Using a spatula, push down from the walls of the mixing pot. Add cinnamon, cardamom and brown sugar and mix for 8 minutes | 100 ° C | Cook stage 1 without measuring cup inserted. Then allow to cool slightly.
Divide the dough in half and roll out each on the lightly floured work surface into two evenly sized, 0.5 cm thick rectangles. Spread one of the dough halves with the baked apple filling, then place the second dough sheet on top. Use a sharp knife to cut about 2-3 cm cubes out of the dough.
Preheat the oven to 180 ° C top and bottom heat. Bake the baked apple confection in the preheated oven on the middle tray for about 22-27 minutes, depending on the size, until the cubes are golden brown and crispy.
Spread the warm confectionery with the melted butter and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
The amount is enough, depending on the size for about 20-30 cookies .
